Rudy is content to take life as it comes to him and go with the flow. He has wants and desires, but he never feels so strongly about any of them as to make a change in his routine to get them. He is happy to make the best of the opportunities around him and is skeptical of really big changes until he gets used to them.
He is a hopeless romantic bordering on intense rationalist, which makes for an absurd combination. Thoughts and words get confused and jumbled somewhere between his brain and his tongue and he has taken to remaining quite silent a great deal of the time to avoid the embarrassment.
Rudy has a fond outlook on life thanks to his mother and the general chemical confusion that clouds his brain, but he is often misconceived as being entirely too thoughtful and depressed, which is simply not the case. If he spoke everything that was on his mind, he would certainly be in a heap of trouble.
Known as The Messenger, Rudy without fail delivers all your packages, letters, and goods from wherever they may been sent, whether it be in-town postage, or alcohol, supplies and special goods from the mysterious outside world. He drifts about the town on his quiet horse, and together they are a silent constant in the Daingerfield.
Though he appears unhurried and unguarded, The Messenger keeps to a tight schedule and works very hard. He considers lateness a personal failure, and steers clear of trouble lest it affects his routine. He has been known to pick up odd jobs here and there, delivering things of great importance, including people and large sums of money, but he does not do so for free.
Rudy may be found most often near or around The Inventor's(where he resides at night), or the Station Stop(where he gathers things to be delivered).
